About the Tipsmark family

The relations to the concrete industry for the Tipsmark family begins, when our grandfather Christian Tipsmark, skilled carpenter and later educated as a Building Constructor (see photo to the left), in 1912 gets a job at the "Dania" Cementfactory near Mariager (DK).

In 1918 he starts working at Pedershaab Maskinfabrik in Brønderslev (DK). In the workshops are build moulds and concrete mixers, - obviously that interesting, that he in 1924 together with two partners started a company with the same production. The name of the company became Cementstøberiernes Redskabsforsyning (CR).

My father Aage and his twin brother Knud took over the company in 1956.  My two brothers Claus and Michael and myself - are educated at CR - and has since been working with machinery and equiment to the concrete industry.

The first fully automatic hydraulic block machine was delivered in 1961. In the years before and after CR supplied 6-700 machines in different sizes from 30/60 til 90/100.

It began with mould equipment. The compacting was "hand-stamping" and  mechanical stamping, untill vibration took over. In the middle of the 1960's the block machines started to produce slabs and later paving stones. After this - the developing of mould equipment took off. From "hand-built" moulds to modular build moulds as an industrial product. I have been working with mould equipment since 1974, the last 22 years at one of Northern Europes well known mould builders.  Here I took part in especially the development from traditionally made moulds to a ISO:9001 certified industrial product.

As an agent for the moulds from CR - I can offer a high class product which in all respects are in the European elite class for mould equipment. CR is the only mould builder in Scandinavia with capability to manufacture constructed moulds - all is made in own workshop !

After many years among European colleagues - it is my ambition, to search for companies that has stood out as skilled and reliable suppliers. The ambitionen is, that also Nordic concrete product manufacturers must be able to benefit from these supppliers.
